COVID-19 guidance (updated November 2020)

Following the latest government advice, we will remain open for templating & fitting. The safety of our staff and customers remains our priority and work will only be undertaken where we can guarantee the following guidelines will be adhered to:


Showroom and visits to the factory 

  • Our showroom will be closed until at least 2nd December.
  • We will continue to send out free samples.
  • Where customers need to view specific slabs, an appointment will be arranged, and only if the products can be displayed in a way that social distance can be maintained.
  • Customers may only visit if they and their household have been COVID symptom-free for 14 days and must maintain social distancing rules.
  • We will not be accepting any visits from suppliers or sales reps until further notice.

The following guidelines must be adhered to while we are on site and may lead to a template or fit being aborted if not followed.

Templating

  • The site or household must have been free from COVID symptoms for at least 14 days prior to templating.
  • Customers must cancel appointments if COVID symptoms develop prior to their template.
  • Our templater must work alone in the kitchen; both the homeowner and other tradespeople need to be vacate the room while our staff member is present.
  • Customers will have the opportunity to discuss specific requirements but social distancing rules will apply.
  • Our staff will take precautions by wearing gloves, using hand sanitiser, washing hands, and wearing a mask (where reasonably practicable).
  • If for any reason the templater is not happy with, for instance, distances from other tradesmen etc., they will leave the site. The aborted visit will be chargeable according to our standard terms and conditions.

Fitting

  • The site or household must have been free from COVID symptoms for at least 14 days prior to fitting.
  • Customers must cancel appointments if COVID symptoms develop prior to their template.
  • Our fitters must work alone in the kitchen; both the homeowner and other tradespeople need to vacate the room while our staff members are present.
  • Any communication with the homeowner or site manager will follow social distancing rules.
  • Customers will have the opportunity to check the installation and discuss any issues and maintenance guidelines once the installers have finished. Social distancing rules will apply.
  • Installers will take precautions by wearing gloves, using hand sanitiser, washing hands, and wearing a mask (where reasonably practicable).
  • If for any reason the installers are not happy with, for instance, distances from other tradesmen etc., they will leave the site. The aborted visit will be chargeable according to our standard terms and conditions.

Please note – some of our team are exempt from wearing face masks due to pre-existing conditions. We will continue to remain vigilant to ensure we capture any early signs of infection amongst our team and ensure sufficient quarantine activities take place.
